- 1 large Chopped Onion
- 1 tsp Ghee
- 2 medium Green Chillies
- 0.05 Cup Rava
- 0.05 Cup Oil
- 0.05 Cup Maida
- 0.25 Cup Rice Flour
- 0.05 tsp Salt
- 10 pieces Curry Leaves
Cooking Steps For Vada:
Step 1 :
Slice onion and finely chop green chillies and curry leaves.
Step 2 :
Put onion, green chillies, curry leaves into a bowl, squeeze a little, to remove excess water from the onion.
Step 3 :
Add rava, maida and rice flour to the bowl along with salt, ghee and 2 tbsp of heated oil. Mix it well to combine.
Step 4 :
Now, add water bit by bit to make a dough.
Step 5 :
Cover the dough and keep it for 10 minutes.
Step 6 :
Take oil in frying pan and heat on medium flame.
Step 7 :
Take a small amount of dough and flatten it on butter paper to the thickness of 1/2 cm. The size of a usual vada is 10 cm in diameter.
Step 8 :
Fry the dough in the pan until golden brown and crispy in nature.
Step 9 :
Serve it hot with some coconut chutney.
